Utilising the form of a rotunda, a thickened facade creates a series of gestural enclaves that generate study carrels around the perimeter. This deep exterior allows inhabitants to occupy the wall and spaces within the poche.

Centred around the main reading room, a triangular stair syncopates the internal rhythm, creating asynchronicity on the other two floors. Watch-like, the program winds around the stairs before the eccentricity unwinds the plan, generating the library’s extension, uncoiling itself around new circulation towers.
