Caspar Bhalerao MA Cantab is a designer and architecture graduate from the University of Cambridge and current MArch student at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. He completed his studies at Cambridge under the tutelage of Freddie Phillipson and Laurence Lumley, achieving a first-class degree in the process.

His professional experience includes a stint in London with Sanchez Benton architects, a small, and award-winning, architecture practice. SBa are dedicated to sensitive development through studies of context and research into sustainable materials and construction.

Caspar’s experimental style uses a range of physical and digital mediums, employing collage techniques to explore the boundary between the real and the surreal. Projects operate at a broad array of scales from vast landscapes to furniture and objects. Ideas are continually developed and refined to produce concepts that are simultaneously bold and detailed.

Alongside architecture, he has experience in a range of multi-disciplinary projects; from full-stack development, website design, to graphic design, copywriting and editing, and other academic and literary pursuits.

Aside from work he likes football, chess, and gabion walls.
